The accommodation and food services industry offers leisure and hospitality services, such as lodging, and preparing meals, snacks and beverages for immediate consumption. Accommodation includes hotels, motels, resorts, hostels, campgrounds and other short-term accommodation businesses.

Food services includes quick-service restaurants, such as counter services, cafeterias and food courts; full-service restaurants, such as fine dining and family restaurants; establishments that provide alcohol, like pubs and bars; institutional foodservices in hospitals, prisons and schools; and other foodservices, such as those in accommodation, retail and catering settings.
