Job Description:
Aerospace manufacturing involves the production and assembly of components and systems used in aircraft and space vehicles. This includes manufacturing and assembling parts such as engines, landing gear, avionics, and other systems. Aerospace manufacturing professionals are responsible for designing, testing, and producing these components to meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing aerospace components and systems
- Planning and overseeing the production and assembly of aerospace components
- Testing and inspecting components to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
- Troubleshooting and resolving production issues
- Maintaining and updating production equipment and tools
- Collaborating with other teams such as engineering and design to ensure the efficient and effective production of aerospace components
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing or a related field
- Strong knowledge of aerospace materials and production processes
- Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
