Job Description:

Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing Support professionals are responsible for providing support to farmers, ranchers, foresters, and fishers. This includes tasks such as maintaining and repairing equipment, planting and harvesting crops, caring for livestock, and managing forests and fishing waters.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and repairing agricultural and forestry equipment
• Planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops
• Caring for livestock, including feeding and watering
• Managing forests and fishing waters, including planting and harvesting trees, and monitoring fish populations
• Keeping records of crop yields, livestock health, and other important information
• Assisting with marketing and sales of agricultural and forestry products
• Providing customer service to farmers, ranchers, foresters, and fishers

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working in agriculture, forestry, or fishingv
• Knowledge of agricultural and forestry equipment and techniques
• Strong mechanical skills
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work in outdoor and sometimes adverse weather conditions
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
