Job Title: Building Cleaner

Job Description:

The Building Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the building and surrounding grounds. This includes performing a variety of cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and cleaning restrooms. The Building Cleaner is also responsible for ensuring that all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stored.

Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain all common areas of the building, including lobbies, hallways, stairways, and elevators
Clean and maintain restrooms, including restocking supplies and ensuring all fixtures are properly sanitized
Vacuum, dust, and mop all floors and carpets
Clean and maintain all windows and mirrors
Empty and clean all trash receptacles
Report any damages or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel
Follow all safety and health regulations and procedures
Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

No schooling

At least 1 year of experience in commercial cleaning

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds

Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper usage

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours as needed
