
Computer Service Technician
Job Description:
Computer Service Technicians are responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of computer systems and equipment. They diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, and provide solutions to fix them. They also install and configure hardware and software, and provide technical support to customers and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues on a variety of computer systems and equipment
- Provide solutions to fix technical issues
- Install and configure hardware and software on computer systems
- Provide technical support to customers and clients
- Maintain and update inventory of computer systems and equipment
- Keep up to date with new technology and software developments
- Communicate with customers and clients to understand their needs and provide solutions
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is preferred
- Strong technical knowledge of computer systems and software
- Experience with hardware and software installation and configuration
- Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- A+ or IT certifications is a plus.
