Database Analyst

Job Description:

A Database Analyst is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's database systems. They work to ensure the integrity, performance, and security of the organization's data. They also analyze and troubleshoot any issues related to the database and work to improve the overall efficiency of the system.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and maintain the organization's database systems
• Ensure the integrity, performance, and security of the organization's data
• Analyze and troubleshoot any issues related to the database
• Work to improve the overall efficiency of the system
• Provide support to end-users on data-related issues
• Develop and implement database backup and recovery procedures
• Monitor and optimize database performance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• 2-3 years of experience in database analysis or related field
• Strong knowledge of database management systems and SQL
• Experience with database design and modeling
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
