Fashion assistant

Job Description:

A Fashion Assistant is responsible for supporting a fashion designer or stylist in the creation and production of clothing and accessories. They assist with tasks such as sourcing fabrics, creating mood boards, and organizing clothing samples. They also assist with the coordination of fashion shows and photo shoots.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the research and sourcing of fabrics, trims, and accessories
• Create and organize mood boards and inspiration boards
• Maintain and organize clothing samples and accessories
• Help to coordinate and organize fashion shows and photo shoots
• Attend fittings and make necessary adjustments to clothing
• Communicate with suppliers and vendors
• Assist with the creation of technical drawings and specifications

Qualifications:

• Strong interest in fashion design and styling
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) is a plus
• Experience in the fashion industry is a plus
