Job Description:

A gas supply professional is responsible for the procurement and distribution of natural gas to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. This includes managing contracts with gas suppliers, monitoring gas usage and prices, and ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Negotiating and managing contracts with gas suppliers
• Monitoring gas usage and prices to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency
• Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of gas pipelines and equipment
• Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and safety standards
• Responding to customer inquiries and complaints related to gas supply
• Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to develop and implement strategies for improving gas supply
• Keeping abreast of industry trends and developments to identify opportunities for improvement

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in gas supply or a related field
• Strong understanding of natural gas markets and regulations
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in relevant software and systems.
