Job Description:
The Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for creating, implementing, and measuring the success of a comprehensive marketing communications program that will enhance the organization's image and position within the marketplace. This includes developing and implementing marketing strategies, plans, and tactics to reach targeted audiences and achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute effective marketing communication strategies, plans, and tactics to reach targeted audiences and achieve business objectives
- Manage the production of all promotional materials and marketing communications
- Coordinate and manage events and promotions
- Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets, industry influencers, and other key stakeholders
- Monitor and analyze market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency of messaging and branding across all channels
- Create and manage budgets for marketing communication programs and campaigns
- Report on the effectiveness of marketing communication programs and campaigns
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a marketing communications role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Experience with graphic design and digital marketing
- Experience with event planning and coordination
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to measure and report on campaign success
- Strong understanding of the latest trends and best practices in marketing and communications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects at once
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
