Responsibilities

  • Design, install, configure and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Provide support for LAN, WAN, and WLAN environments.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues, including latency, bandwidth utilization, and packet loss.
  • Manage network security, including firewall configuration and VPN setup.
  • Implement and maintain network management tools and protocols.
  • Provide end-user support for network-related issues.
  • Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Stay current with new technologies and industry trends related to networking.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network administration.
  • Expertise in Cisco routers and switches, firewall configuration, and VPN setup.
  • Knowledge of routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP.
  • Experience with network management and monitoring tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CCNP, and CCIE are a plus.
