
Network Administrator
Responsibilities
- Design, install, configure and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Provide support for LAN, WAN, and WLAN environments.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues, including latency, bandwidth utilization, and packet loss.
- Manage network security, including firewall configuration and VPN setup.
- Implement and maintain network management tools and protocols.
- Provide end-user support for network-related issues.
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures.
- Stay current with new technologies and industry trends related to networking.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network administration.
- Expertise in Cisco routers and switches, firewall configuration, and VPN setup.
- Knowledge of routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP.
- Experience with network management and monitoring tools.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CCNP, and CCIE are a plus.
