Network Engineer

Job Description

The Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure. This includes managing and maintaining network hardware, software, and security systems. The Network Engineer will work closely with other IT team members to ensure smooth and efficient network operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement network infrastructure for new projects and system upgrades
• Manage and maintain network hardware and software systems
• Monitor and troubleshoot network issues, and take appropriate action to resolve them
• Implement and maintain network security systems, such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems
• Work with other IT team members to ensure smooth network operations
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends, and make recommendations for system improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
• Experience with network hardware, such as routers, switches, and firewalls
• Knowledge of network security concepts, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• CCNA, CCNP, or other relevant certifications a plus
