Job Description:
The Pest Control Technician/Specialist is responsible for providing safe and effective pest control services to commercial and residential customers. This includes identifying and treating infestations, inspecting properties, and providing recommendations for preventative measures. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and communicating with customers and management.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect properties for signs of infestations and determine appropriate treatment methods
- Apply pesticides and other control measures to eliminate pests
- Provide recommendations for preventative measures to customers
- Maintain accurate records of treatments and inspections
- Communicate with customers and management regarding service needs and concerns
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pest control certification or license
- Knowledge of various pests and control methods
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Must pass a background check and drug test.
